Roy: Ranbir Kapoor did not have much successful films in his name with already mega flop film Bombay Velvet. Roy starring Ranbir, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez was also nothing less than a flop movie. Roy had a budget of Rs. 40 crores net approx but collected only Rs. 36 crores. Although the difference is not a lot, given the star cast of the film it should have done better.
