Directed by R Balki, the film also features Dhanush and will also mark Kamal Haasan’s daughter Akshara Haasan’s Bollywood debut. In the film, Big B plays a drunkard film industry veteran, and when Amitabh and Dhanush finally meet, the journey of ‘Shamitabh’ begins, and also their hidden rivalry.
