The wait is finally over! The trailer of much anticipated film “Shamitabh”, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush is out. In the trailer, we can see actor Dhanush playing as a mute small town guy with big dreams, who sets out on his journey to become a star.
Big B plays a drunkard film industry veteran, and when Amitabh and Dhanush finally meet, the journey of “Shamitabh” begins, and also their hidden rivalry. In the trailer, both Amitabh and Dhanush are seen in similar outfits.
Big B surely stole all the thunder with his rugged look, heavy beard and messy hair. At the trailer launch of R Balki’s “Shamitabh”, Amitabh Bachchan commented on his look in the film by saying, “For this film we have tried different looks and some international makeup artistes have worked together for this look. We have worked really hard for this film. My makeup artist Deepak Sawant has also worked on my look.”
Akshara Haasan, who is debuting in Bollywood with “Shamitabh”, will be seen romancing with actor Dhanush in the film. The trailer of the film ends with Amitabh Bachchan saying, “It is not picture, it is mixture”.
Director R Balki’s “Shamitabh” is set to hit theaters on February 6, 2015.
