Failure After Failure:
In the initial stage of her career, Vidya faced a lot of complications and problems. The first movie offer that she got was for Malayalam film “Chakram” opposite Mohanlal and was also signed on for twelve more Malayalam films. But due to some reasons, the film “Chakram” was put aside. Film producers blamed Vidya for the complications and labeled her as a “jinx” and got her replaced from all the films that she was contracted for. Later, she even tried her luck in Tamil cinema and faced replacements, disappointments and failures.
