[tps_footer]Cricket fever seems to have gripped our television stars. Post Bollywood’s Celebrity Cricket League, even our television stars are now gearing up for The Box Cricket League, which will commence soon.

In The Box Cricket League, all the matches will be played in a box with a soft ball and so it has been named as Box Cricket League.

Kamya Punjabi, who was last seen in Bigg Boss 7, has become owner of a cricket team Jaipur Joshiley in The Box Cricket League and her best friend, Pratyusha Banerjee the brand ambassador for the team.

“I am the brand ambassador for ‘Jaipur Joshiley’ and it’s owner is Kamya Punjabi. We all, including our players, actors, are excited for this. You will see Avinash Sachdev, Anup Soni, Siddharth Shukla, Jasveer Kaur, Sneha Wagh and a lot of other nice and good faces playing with us in the team.” informed an excited Pratyusha.

Apart from Pratyusha, popular television stars like Sidharth Shukla, Anoop Soni, Ajaz Khan, Rajiv Thakur, Sangram Singh, Avinash Sachdev and producer Suhana Sinha and Nikhil Sinha will also be a part of her team.

When contacted, an excited Kamya said, “Yes, I’ve bought a team – Jaipur Joshiley. I am a big cricket buff and cricket is something that excites me. Whenever I am shooting and any match is on, I get restless and start checking scores on my phone.”

When asked what prompted her to buy a cricket team, the actress says, “My interest for the game was one of the reasons. Also I was initially offered to be the captain of a team but I thought why not buy a team and luckily everything fell in place. From deciding on my team’s uniform to the promotions, I am planning a lot of things for my cricket team as there’s very less time left. I am very happy to have all my close friends in my team and I am looking forward to the league.”

The Box Cricket League will begin from March 23, 2014.[/tps_footer]
