MUMBAI: From Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan to Aamir Khan to Rani Mukerji to Bipasha Basu, all had a Diwali blast this year.
Amitabh Bachchan’s residence Jalsa was converted into a mini film industry. Shah Rukh Khan arrived looking royal and regal in a black jodhpuri, along with Gauri Khan who stunned us in a golden nine yard.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore a lovely pink salwar kameez, while Mr. Bachchan and Abhishek were seen in a kurta paijama. If one notices, the only difference between their outfits is that of colors rest is all the same! Like father, like son.
The other glitterati that attended the lavish bash were Sonam Kapoor, looking gorgeous in an elaborate Indian ensemble; Anushka Sharma, all beaming with florescent colors; Alia Bhatt, Neha Dhupia, Raveena Tandon, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, and Vidya Balan, who looked like a newly wedded bride in red; along with husband Siddharth Roy Kapoor.
Coming to Rani Mukerji, she is the unofficial “Chopra Bahu” and was seen celebrating Diwali at the Chopra mansion. Where else will you find her? Along with her one saw good friend Vaibhavi Merchant and Rani’s sister-in-law Jyoti with her two kids.
This year even Aamir Khan had a huge Diwali party. Guess what? He has reasons as well! ‘Dhoom 3’ is ready for release and the theatrical promos have already created a furor. Attending his party were nephew Imran Khan and wife Avantika Malik, his daughter Ira, Karan Johar, Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Sharman Joshi, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Jackie Shroff, Kunal Kohli, Riteish Sidhwani, among others.
Salman Khan too was seen having fun at brother Sohail Khan’s birthday cum Diwali bash. For the Khans it was a huge family affair.
The sultry siren on Bollywood, Bipasha Basu too had a small get together for her family, friends and not to forget the love of her life Harman Baweja. Designer and close friend Rocky S greeted everyone along with Bipasha. Her parents Hirak Basu and Mamata Basu were also there at the party. Dipannita Sharma, Milind Soman and Vikram Bhatt also attended the bash.
Looks like Bollywood is in a party mood from now on!
