The Happy Ending movie trailer was launched recently. The movie features Saif Ali Khan, Ileana D’Cruz, Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey in pivotal roles.

Saif Ali Khan who plays the main lead (a flamboyant writer) dressed up in casuals- a black tee, denims and a watch.

The trailer shows how Ileana D’Cruz is the only inspiration of the writer after his life took a sudden turn.

Ileana D’Cruz was seen wearing chandelier-print Farah Sanjana separates, her hair up.

Completing her look was dramatic smokey eyes, gold-tone earrings, stack of bracelets and black pumps.

Kalki Koechlin looked sexy and seductive as ever in a deep blue short dress.

She paired it up with black pumps and hair undo. Her role in the movie trailer is still a mystery.

Ranvir Shorey who appears to be Saif Ali Khan‘s best friend for the movie kept his attire formal for the occasion.

The star cast also had a selfie moment of their own, in order to please their fans present at the event.

When asked about why wife Kareena wasn’t present at the event, Saif Ali Khan responded with a “Kareena does not attend to movies that have her in less than one scene.”

Adding to the lovely humour of his, he said “We have to attend a party tonight so she probably might be getting ready for it.”

Who knows, maybe all this might just be Saif Ali Khan‘s way of saying that he knows that his on-screen chemistry with his real wife doesn’t work too well, so rather have her in as minimal a role as possible.

Happy Ending is an upcoming Hindi romance comedy film directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. and produced by Saif Ali Khan‘s Illuminati Films.
