[tps_footer]The Happy New Year star cast has taken off to US to entertain the world with Bollywood’s biggest, The Slam Tour. The stars would be performing live at different venues from September 19. The schedule of the tour is: Houston (September 19), New Jersey (September 20), Washington DC (September 21), Chicago (September 26), Vancouver in Canada (September 27) and San Jose in California (September 28).
The entire team of the film is excited to perform in US in front of a large audience. Not only that, the New Jersey-New York event is expected to be attended by nearly 20,000 people.
Megastar Shah Rukh Khan, seen in white tee and black leather jacket paired with light blue denims, posted his selfie from the flight on Twitter and wrote, “The SLAM has taken off. See you Houston. Will catch up with some much needed sleep…or should I watch a film??”
Actor Sonu Sood, seen in a similar attire: black tee red jacket and grey jeans, also tweeted with a picture of himself and his co-actor Boman Irani: “USA … Here we come. Can’t wait to see u all…#slam #HNY.”
Director Farah Khan, seen in floral top, black overcoat, green glasses and a blue watch tweeted: “On way to airport for the SLAM TOUR…Leaving 1 family behind to b with another..”
But Deepika Padukone was the best dressed amongst them all. She got many eyes rolling by only looking gorgeous as ever a pair of leather effect leggings, a black coat, a pair of oxblood boots and a matching Tom Ford tote.
Titled ‘Slam’ (sound, light, action and movie), the tour will also have a performance by SRK who would have a flying entry into the concert. Others will be his team Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachhan, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah besides Madhuri Dikshit, Malaika Arora Khan and singers Honey Singh, Kanika Kapoor.
The ticket rates are ranged between Rs 4000 to Rs 32,000, the Rs 32,000 being the best seats in the arena. And as it can be expected, the name Shah Rukh Khan is enough for tickets to sell at a very fast pace. Must say, Shah Rukh Khan‘s movies be a hit or flop, his promotional strategies are always a huge hit!
However, now we can only hope that Shah Rukh Khan, like earlier times, does not get literally slammed at the US immigration when he reaches US soon to promote his SLAM! tour concerts, as a part of the ‘Happy New Year’ project.[/tps_footer]
