[tps_footer]‘Angry Indian Goddesses’ premiered in India at the 17th edition of Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. The star cast that includes Sandhya Mridul, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Anushka Manchanda, Amrit Maghera, Rajshri Deshpande and Pavleen Gujral, were present at the premiere of ‘Angry Indian Goddesses’ along with the director Pan Nalin.
Bollywood big names like Kalki Koechlin, MAMI festival chairperson Kiran Rao, MAMI festival’s director Anupama Chopra, lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar and wife Shabana Azmi and Indian ad film director Prahlad Kakkar were the attendees too. Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khattar and veteran actor Kanwaljit Singh were also seen at the premiere.

‘Angry Indian Goddesses’ follows the stories of seven girls. It narrates the tale of how Frieda, essayed by actress Sarah-Jane Dias, invites her closest girlfriends to Goa to announce her wedding, and it all turns into a wild bachelorette party. Angry Indian Goddesses is expected to release with Salman Khan’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ . Now as some reports suggest, the release of the movie has been pushed until November end. The movie, which has been lauded at various international film festivals like 40th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and the Rome Film Festival, will be released on November 27, read a statement.
