The actors of Bollywood have shown their likes and loyalties to their designers in various public platforms, but recently the most extra-ordinary effort was made by none other than Lisa Haydon for her friend cum mentor Tarun Tahilani. The actress who is famous for her recent roles in “Queen” and “Aisha” walked the ramp as a show-stopper in high fever.
The lady looked ravishingly seducing while she walked the ramp in her rustic golden bridal attire. The event of BMW Indian Bridal Fashion Week was a dazzling affair, where all the famous designers from Manish Malhotra to Tarun Tahilani showcased their new bridal collections.
Tarun called his collection, “Our Electic New World”. The collection was every bit Eclectic as imagined, he introduced the uncommon hues of ivory, gold, blue, black and soft blush in his lehengas and sarees. The whole point of the collection was to use light weighted fabrics and highlighted them with Jaali-work, tiny pearls and Swarovski crystals.
Lisa would never let her friend down, was her reply when asked about her extreme show of professionalism and commitment. She wanted to be there for the friend, who was the first to give her a chance when she was back to India. Lisa looked stunning as a bride clad in golden rustic lehenga, and she played the perfect muse to her mentor when she walked and took over the audience with her glamour. She loved the fit of the dress which worked the best for her. She surely supports the idea of Tarun’s, of introducing light weighted D-day dresses for Indian Brides who sometimes tend to over-do their attire.
