‘Madras Cafe’, directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by John, is reportedly a political thriller. John said he is confident of the film’s content, “I am very confident about ‘Madras Cafe’. This is a very special child. We have spent around six years on the script.”

In a nautical striped tee and jeans, John spoke at length about the film and his role. He looked visibly nervous and also quite excited while launching the first look poster. His co-stars Nargis Fakhri (of ‘Rockstar’ fame) and debutante Rashi Khanna looked pretty in white.

‘Madras Cafe’, which also stars Ayushmann Khurrana, is gearing up for an August release.
