MUMBAI: It’s the holy month of Ramzan and there’s a festive buzz around. Even the makers of ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’ are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the film, set against the festive backdrop does not go unnoticed.
Actor Imran Khan, who plays Aslam in the film, is religiously offering his prayers. He said at the launch of a magazine cover (where he and Sonam Kapoor appear on the cover), that though he hasn’t had the time to do the fasting (rozas), he devotes time to the prayers (namaaz). The actor was spotted at mosque after offering prayers on the last Friday of the month of Ramzan.
Even Ekta Kapoor and Balaji Motion Pictures are taking the celerbrations forward and have launched a special song ‘Bismillah’ catering to the festive theme and Eid.
There were reports that Ekta Kapoor and director Milan Luthria aren’t quite happy with the response audiences have given to the promos and Ekta Kapoor had decided to add a new song (Read Story).
The new song ‘Bismillah’ will feature Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan. Music composer, Pritam has composed the song while Anupam Amod has sung the song.
It needs to be seen if Imraan’s prayers and ‘Bismillah’ song add up to the film’s success at the ticket windows. It surely will be celebration then for the team of ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara’.
