MUMBAI: Looks like BIG B, Amitabh Bachchan has taken his role as a social activist too seriously! After playing a common-man in angst against the system in ‘Satyagraha’, the actor showed his courtesy towards pets. 

At an event, Amitabh Bachchan felicitated pet keepers. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are themselves dog lovers. Amitabh Bachchan owned a pet dog named Shanauk who passed away a few months back.

The actor has shared an emotional bonding with his pet dog as well and it was an emotional moment for the actor being the guest at the event.
