MUMBAI: It was a reunion of sorts for actors Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit at the sets of a dance based reality show. Anil Kapoor was the special guest at the semi-final of the event.
The actor who graced the show as a part of the promotions of his upcoming television show ‘24’ was dressed in a black suit matching diva Madhuri Dixit’s white-black shimmery saree.
Anil Kapoor not only danced to his popular numbers “One Two Ka Four” from ‘Ram Lakhan’ but also mesmerized audiences with his ‘Dhak Dhak’ act with Madhuri Dixit.
Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit pairing has always been a hit in the 90’s with films like ‘Beta’, ‘Tezaab’ and ‘Ram Lakhan’. Coming back together on television would surely have been a memorable moment for the actors.
Also present at the show was Irrfan Khan who brought with him ‘The Lunchbox’. With Ritesh Batra’s film due for release on 20 September and being presented by none other than Karan Johar, who is a judge on the show, it was a perfect platform to unveil the film.
‘The Lunchbox’ has won acclaim at several film festivals also the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
With Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan being present the show it truly must have been an episode filled with excitement and full dhamaal with Anil’s antics and Irrfan’s wit!
