MUMBAI: While the Bachchan family celebrated a quiet Karva Chauth this year, since Abhishek Bachchan was away, the rest of Bollywood had a gala time celebrating the age-old tradition.
Anil and Sunita Kapoor threw a grand Karva Chauth bash, to which a host of B’towners were invited.
Guests included Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, Maheep and Sanjay Kapoor, Anu and Sunny Dewan, Bhavna and Chunkey Pandey, David Dhawan, his wife Lali and daughter-in-law Jahnvi, Farah Khan, Padmini Kolhapure, Krishika Lulla, and Rajkumar Santoshi and his wife Manila.
Meanwhile, superstar Akshay Kumar also played doting husband to his wife Twinkle Khanna. The duo reportedly observed the festival at actress Gayatri Joshi’s residence.
Akshay looked macho in a simple nude pink shirt and slacks, while Twinkle sparkled (quite literally), in a stunning white salwar suit and bright pink dupatta.
