At the Humshakals success bash Sajid Khan stated that he is looking forward to the idea of converting the film into a franchise much like the Housefull series.

“Humshakals had so many characters, the sequel will have to have even more, so despite wanting to make a film like that first, we will need to think of its execution and feasibility.” stated Sajid Khan.

Well we all hope that Sajid was only joking.
