MUMBAI: It seems to be raining cover girls all this month, in Bollywood.
Traditionally, Bollywood’s lissome women have always dominated magazine cover pages and photo spreads. But for a while, there’s been a sort of lull in terms of them gracing the coveted cover page. In a revival of sorts, this monsoon month will see a shower of several of B’town’s top heroines with their mugs plastered on the front page of a range of top glossies.
Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif (a stunning black and white shot!), Deepika Padukone. The reigning queens of Bollywood have been photographed to frontline diverse publications. Meanwhile, flavour of the season Sonam Kapoor too has bagged a prestigious cover page of a lifestyle magazine.
Eternally graceful and beautiful Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit, in a flowing white gown, landed plumly on the cover of a high-end magazine, while Shraddha Kapoor (fresh from the success of ‘Aashiqui 2’) looks chic on the front page of a different periodical.
Sonakshi Sinha was perhaps the only heroine to be featured on page 1 of a Bollywood gossip magazine this month, while Aditi Rao Hydari and Evelyn Sharma’s bold photos for two different mags will set temperatures soaring this month.
