MUMBAI: Hrithik Roshan, Bollywood’s macho superhero underwent an emergency surgery yesterday at Hinduja Hospital, to remove a brain clot. A host of Bollywood personalities were spotted outside the hospital, after visiting their favourite superhero.
Karan Johar and Gauri Khan, close friends of the Roshans, were the first to rush to Hrithik’s side upon hearing the news. Hrithik’s wife Suzanne too had rushed back from London, where she had been holidaying with her two sons.
Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor, Uday Chopra, Sharman Joshi and others were also seen rallying around a recuperating Hrithik, who suffered from a head injury while shooting for ‘Bang Bang’, around two months ago.
A relieved Rakesh Roshan said as soon as the surgery ended: “His surgery was successful. It is a minor surgery called chronic subdural hematoma and it happens due to some impact on the head.”
