[tps_footer]There is too much being written about the Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia legal battle. Well going by the latest developments in their case, Perity Zinta visited the Mumbai police headquarter to meet the Commissioner of police Rakesh Maria. According to reports she has provided names of some more witnesses.
Perity Zinta had filed a complaint against Ness Wadia on June 13, 2014 at the Marine Drive police station. Her complaint stated that the businessman abused and threatened her inside the Wankhede stadium during the match between Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings on May 30, 2014.
Perity Zinta recorded her supplementary statement last week at the stadium. The police also recorded statements of the witnesses Perity Zinta gave in connection with the case.
Her neighbour, Danish Merchant, also recorded his statement last week and said that Preity showed him the bruise on her elbow a day after the incident and also asked him if this is how one treats a girl. Danish Merchant, is one among the four key witnesses of the incident that happened on May 30, 2014.
In the mean while, a fifth eyewitness whose statement was recorded by the Mumbai Police in the complaint filed by Preity Zinta against Ness Wadia supported Ms. Zinta’s case.
Parul Khanna, a friend of the victim recorded her statement before the Mumbai Police. She told the police that Preity Zinta was molested and abused by Ness Wadia at the Gaware Pavillion.
