MUMBAI: It’s not often that Bollywood stars show their charitable side, but Priyanka Chopra did that recently.
Priyanka was leaving Zoya Akhtar’s home on the weekend night when her fans outside got around her. As everyone knows, Ms Chopra will next be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s film as Ranveer Singh’s sister.
Priyanka’s bodyguard quickly assisted her to her car even as she waved to her fans.
Once inside the car, Ms Chopra saw a beggar outside her car window. The actress immediately removed money from her bag and passed it into the hands of the beggar.
It was nice to see the human side of Priyanka Chopra, who like others in Bollywood are assumed to be up there and not interacting with commoners.
