When two young, good looking actors who started their dream run in Bollywood together with Student Of The Year have come a long way and have been a part of some prestigious projects. Both Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have had a good run at the Box Office and are expected to create magic with this one too.
Alia Bhatt and her Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania co-star Varun Dhawan visited a mall in Mumbai to promote their movie. Both of them have been aggressively promoting their movie for the last couple of months interacted with their fans, sang songs and even did an impromptu jig that left everyone asking for more.
From the time they did their first film, one has seen both Varun and Ali grow as actors, not to forget that Alia Bhatt already has a film, 2 States, that has made it to the 100 crore club.
“When we started shooting for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, I was supposed to play a typical Punjabi guy, but since I have grown up in Mumbai, I couldn’t alter my mannerisms. But eventually, I practiced hard. I can proudly say that I have managed to get into the skin of my character. In fact, I have started talking in the typical Haryanvi manner at home too.” stated a very proud Varun Dhawan.
Alia Bhatt has been very vocal about the kind of roles she wants to do in future and said, “I want to do edgy roles, which at the same time have some kind of connect with my real character. Though I always go by my instinct while choosing a particular role after reading the script, I believe in quality more than quantity.”
Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is being produced by Karan Johar and directed by debutant Shashank Khaitan is all set to release on July 11, 2014 release.[/tps_footer]
