Screen Awards: Where The Women Decided To Bare It All

Screen Ladies 05[tps_footer]The 20th Annual Screen Awards just got over on January 14, 2014. One saw the celebrities walk the red carpet; some women shocked us as they looked stunning, while others shocked us as they thought it was a fancy dress competition rather than an awards night.

Here is an account of what the Women Brigade wore at The 20th Annual Screen Awards:

The awards season has begun in Bollywood and so has the flow of fashion, trends and style. The 20th Annual Life OK Screen Awards saw a fusion of talent and style. The award ceremony saw stars galore who came in, dressed fashionably to attend the function.

Bigg Boss 7 first runner-up Tanisha Mukherji came in with mom Tanuja and sister Kajol. While Tanisha wore a red satin gown, Tanuja came in a lovely bright yellow nine yard, but it was Kajol who looked very shabby in a Shantanu And Nikhil peach coloured gown. To add to it, she wore a House Of Chic turquoise and gold earrings. However she saved the day with her dazzling smile.

Sonakshi Sinha came in a sequined, nude Amit GT gown for the evening. The colour of her dress, her hairdo and the bright pink lipstick made heads turn.

While Kalki Koechlin looked elegant in a Nikhil Thampi golden black combination nine yard, Vaani Kapoor came in a shimmering silvery floor length gown that managed to grab a few shutterbugs. Chitrangda Singh wore a simple yet elegant white Christian Dior gown.

Neha Dhupia chose to keep it simple by wearing a Ranna Gill light peach floor length chiffon dress and Sophie Choudry was in a net Manish Malhotra nine yard.

Bengali bombshell, Bipasha Basu chose to go traditional with a Manish Malhotra navy blue anarkali with a huge neckpiece which complimented her look.

Juhi Chawla looked stunning and quite elegant in an Anita Dongre Lehenga, Sonali Bendre looked lovely in a Surily Goel but then it was Sonal Chauhan who stepped in wearing an Amritraj Bora see through gold gown that looked too messy. Guess she was just there to bare it all.

Tamannaah Bhatia looked beautiful in a Carmen Marc Valvo gown while Divya Dutta looked more like a Christmas tree in what she wore and Kaajal Aggarwal was seen in a black embroidered dress by Vizyon.

Shruti Haasan looked stunning in a Gaurav Gupta Couture design that featured a transparent floral overlay in blue. Aditi Rao Hyadri was dressed in a navy blue dress and she thought the red carpet was a ramp.  Poor girl, I feel she got confused and maybe thought that she was attending a fashion fest and not an award night.

Deepika Padukone was in an Alexander McQueen black gown and looked a million dollar. Our very own Divya Khosla Kumar looked ghastly in an outdated ghagra choli by Sabyasachi.

But then the evening belonged to Huma Qureshi and Adhuna Akhtar, both vying for the worst dressed crown.

While on one hand Huma Qureshi was seen wearing a deep red Nikhil Thampi dress, looking over weight and disastrous, on the other hand, I was wondering what was wrong with the white sari Adhuna Akhtar was wearing, not to forget her horrendous hairdo.
