MUMBAI: Television’s funniest man Kapil Sharma denies that he is dating Preeti Simoes, the head of his comedy show.
Host of popular comedy TV show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’, Kapil’s popularity only seems to be soaring over the past few months. However, the stand-up comedian insists he is very much single.
While confirming reports of him being approached to participate on a dance reality show, Kapil said, “Yes, the makers of the show (Nach Baliye) have approached me to join the show either as a host or as a participant. I am not interested in doing it as I don’t want any false publicity by going for the show as a participant with any fake partner.”
Added Kapil, refuting rumours of him dating Preeti: “This is not at all true, we are good friends, there is nothing at all beyond this. I really don’t understand that when I am available for the media and I have been maintaining a fair communication with the media, from where do all these stories come from. I would like to clarify again I am very much single. I don’t want such controversies to surround me. I want to grow in this industry on the basis of my talent and hard work.”
