MUMBAI: They may be away from their home in Kolkata, but that doesn’t mean Durga Puja will not be celebrated in Mumbai. Rani Mukerji and her entire extended family will celebrate four days of the Durga Puja – an annual celebration for them.
Of course, this means that the entire Mukerji family will be in attendance, including Rani Mukerji, her cousin Kajol, as well as director Ayan Mukerji. Tanisha will be missing this time around as she stays inside the ‘Bigg Boss’ house.
Many Bollywood friends will also be attending the Puja. Last year Ayan Mukerji’s best friend Ranbir Kapoor attended along with his ‘Barfi!’ director Anurag Basu and composer Pritam.
Some performances by Bollywood composers and singers are held too, and this year Pritam will return along with singers Shaan and Sukhwinder Singh to enthrall the devotees.
The four day Puja will possibly see a footfall of one lakh people. Let’s see how many Bollywood stars land up too.
