The press conference was for the Filmfare awards that will take place in this month. For the event, Sonakshi opted for a bright yellow body con dress by Ritu Neeva, metallic ankle heels and studs from Viange. The ‘Tevar’ actress was styled by Chinar Desai.

Sonakshi was her jovial self as she posed for the shutterbugs and inaugurated the ceremony. The most awaited Filmfare Awards will be held on January 15, 2016. The 61st Britannia Filmfare Awards will celebrate excellence in Indian cinema and a return to grandeur, with a mixed bag of commercial successes that set new records this year, and critically acclaimed films that received great reviews.

On work front, Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in ‘Tevar’ opposite Arjun Kapoor. The actress will be seen in ‘Akira’ and ‘Force 2’. ‘Akira’ is an upcoming Indian action-drama film produced and directed by AR Murugadoss. The film is a remake of the 2011 Tamil film Mouna Guru and stars Sonakshi Sinha and Konkona Sen Sharma in lead roles. ‘Force 2’ is sequel to 2011 movie ‘Force’ starring John Abraham and Tahir Bhasin.
