MUMBAI: Nargis Fakhri has had a quiet presence in Bollywood, post her debut film ‘Rockstar’, but now she returns this month opposite John Abraham in ‘Madras Cafe’. At the same time, she’s kept herself visible through modelling and cover poses.
The actress was once again on the cover of a beauty magazine, and she was snapped at the launch event yesterday. While the cover features Nargis in an Indian attire, she was at the event in Western clothes.
The actress, who thinks that Western clothes are no match for Indian clothes spoke about her forthcoming films, including the item song she’s done opposite Shahid Kapoor in ‘Phata Poster Nikhla Hero’.
Nargis Fakhri also denied dating Uday Chopra, even though he flirts with her on Twitter. At the same time, she denied going to Switzerland for Uday Chopra’s mother, Pamela Chopra’s birthday, as the buzz suggested. “I was working hard in India,” she said.
The actress’ next film ‘Madras Cafe’ will release on 23 August.
