MUMBAI: Sonam Kapoor, certified Bollywood fashion diva, has always maintained that she’s quite a bookworm. What we also learnt yesterday, was that she is also a keen enthusiast of films.
Film buff Sonam took time out from her hectic schedule and attended the 15th Mumbai Film Festival, organised by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Images (MAMI). While there, Sonam naturally touched upon her love for all things cinema.
And why not: Sonam herself comes from an illustrious film family (her father is the evergreen Anil Kapoor, her uncle is hotshot producer Boney Kapoor, her aunt is his wife southern siren Sridevi, her cousins are Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.. phew!)
Clad in a pink rosettes-inspired salwar suit (with quite a plunging neckline, mind you), Sonam looked every inch the fashionable movie star that she is. While at the festival, Sonam also promoted the film ‘Little Big People’, which stars actress Sharbani Mukherjee.
Sonam has had two back-to-back hits this year in ‘Raanjhanaa’ and ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’.
