The Ad filmmaker turned director; Mathew has worked on many successful commercials and campaigns for Reliance, Vodafone, Airtel and the Times Of India’s Aman Ki Asha, which got him good recognition. He directed Karan Johar for a coffee –Ad, and that’s when Karan spotted his skills and offered him to direct, Hasee Toh Phasee. The movie did well at the box office, and received positive response from critics. The film starred Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra in the lead roles.
