[tps_footer]Ace photographer Vikram Bawa, will be showcasing a special film on March 12, 2014, day one, of The Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014.
The fashion film, shot by Vikram Bawa with Queenie Singh as the model, for her jewellery brand Jewels By Queenie, will be the latest in the line of glamorously unique videos created by Vikram.
Vikram Bawa has even been named among the best Advertising Photographers worldwide by the esteemed international publication, Lurzer’s Archive for the year 2010-2011.
“I firmly believe that fashion films are an impressive art form in themselves. I am one of the few lens men in India aggressively pushing this form of expression, and I am happy that it is gaining momentum.” informed Vikram.
Chaired by Anaita Shroff Adajania – Fashion Director for Vogue, and renowned jewellery designer Queenie Singh, the event will have Vikram Bawa talking about his special film, along with few more, of his own and others, which will also be showcased. The event will be aimed at creating awareness about fashion films as a lesser explored expression of creativity, a hidden gem.
Jewellery designer, Queenie, celebrated a decade of her brand Jewels By Queenie, last year. Anaita Shroff Adajania, is also a fashion stylist and costume designer for Bollywood films.
The Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014, which commences on March 12, 2014, is a five day event. The most anticipated fashion show of the year is all geared up to see Manish Malhotra‘s Summer Affair Collection.
The Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014 shall have about hundred and two designers from eighteen cities of India and the world to set the ramp on fire.
Manish Malhotra and Rajesh Pratap Singh will open and close the fashion week in their own signature styles.
The Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014 will also include designers like, Tarun Tahiliani, Anita Dongre, Anju Modi, Shantanu And Nikhil, Neeta Lulla, Sayantan Sarkar, Narendra Kumar, Krishna Mehta and many others.[/tps_footer]
