Parzania (2005): Parzania starring Naseeruddin Shah and Sarika in lead roles saw the story of the Gujarat riots. The story was about a little kid who gets lost during the communal riots. The film was completely banned in the state of Gujarat owing to its controversial topic uncovering their past scars. The film did well critically.
