The Movie Contradicts Itself Towards The End:

Other than the above stated reasons, the movie that depicts “Beauty And The Beast” contradicts its own statement of ‘physical beauty is not everything’. In the first half of the movie it is shown that Lingasen is attracted to Diya because of her physical beauty. But when Lingasen turns into a beast (apparently due to a virus, like, seriously?) he expects Diya to look beyond his horrid appearance and remember the love they once shared. So all in all it’s okay for a guy to want a girl for her looks but its wrong if a girl leaves a guy for his looks. Fair enough!
