Shobha Sant, the erstwhile Director of Talent Mantra & Mantra SDS has joined Bhansali Productions as the CEO.
Known for transforming the careers of Bollywood magnets like Dhanush, R. Madhavan, Shruti Haasan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Abhay Deol among others, Shobha Sant has huge experience in human branding, public relations and image management. She has spent considerable part of her career in bridging the gap between an effective script and the potential it carries for the artist in question.

Recently Bhansali Productions has acquired Talent Mantra and Shobha would handle the multiple verticals under the same roof. Her focus would be on the new production slate that will be announced soon. “Mantra SDS has worked with Bhansali Productions for the Posters of Rowdy Rathore, Ram Leela and Mary Kom. Actors like Shruti Haasan and Gulshan Devaiah from Talent Mantra have worked with Bhansali Productions. Now that Talent Mantra is under the same roof as Bhansali Productions, we feel we will be able to add more value to the Talent management service too”, said Shobha.
Bhansali Productions, formerly known as Sanjay Leela Bhansali Films (SLB Films), was founded by film-maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in 1997. Initially it collaborated on many of its films with UTV Motion Pictures. Recently, Priyanka Chopra’s Mary Kom produced by Bhansali Productions has been received extremely well by the audience. In 2005, it won the National Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi as well as Filmfare Award for Best Film for Black. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for creating films like Ram Leela, Guzaarish, Devdas, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and others.
