The 2007 film was an emotionally driven story with a very strong message. The unconventional film marks the directorial debut of Aamir Khan. Aamir took a backseat to let Darsheel bask in the glory and limelight in the film, making Ishaan Awasthi the star of the film. The movie explores the imagination of an 8 year old dyslexic kid, who is misunderstood by the society. The film has given us a gem in the form of the song, Maa which is symbolic in its emotional stature. Taare Zameen par gave a hard hitting message to the audiences which is deeply etched in the heart of the audiences.
