Aamir would play the protagonist Mahavir Singh, who is the father of the sisters and their wrestling coach. The movie would feature the struggle, determination and success of Mahavir, who dared to chase his dream to see his daughters as champion wrestlers despite inhibitions from society.
Aamir wanted to meet Babita and Geeta primarily to know more about their dad. The spokesperson further adds, “He wants to understand his personality before starting to shoot for the film. The trio had a long conversation, where the girls provided him with insight into their own respective journeys and their lifestyle back home. They stayed in the city for a couple of days and are excited to see how the film will turn out.”
