[tps_footer]Aamir Khan is on a high post Dhoom 3, which is tipped to be Bollywood’s biggest grosser. Aamir says that he leaves smoking every year but starts smoking exactly a month before his release. Since Dhoom 3 released on December 20, 2103 he continued his habit of smoking till December 31, 2013 before given it up for a while.
In his most candid interview he came out clean on his ex-wife Reena, his films, plans for Satyamev Jayate Season 2 and last but not the least the time he proposes to go behind the camera once again and direct his second film post Taare Zameen Par (2007).
On his ex-wife Reena, he said that he is still in touch with her and she is a part of the family, despite their divorce in the year 2002. Even though the marriage ended, Reena is still seen at family functions.
“Reena is extremely important and is very much a part of the family and she will always be. Our relationship has undergone a change. From legal point of view we are divorced. But I think the bond that we share is not going to break with a piece of paper. There is alot of love and regard for her in my heart.”
When asked about the kinds of films he is choosing to be a part off, the actor said that a lot depends on his brother, Faisal Khan, who reads the many scripts that are offered to him, selects as few and then forwards the same to him. Interestingly, it was Faisal who has heard the narration of Dhoom 3 along with Aamir and pushed him to take it up.
Coming to his plans for Satyamev Jayate Season 2, the Perfectionist Khan said that he along with his team is in the process of researching on various topics. He is happy with the way it’s going and if all goes well I shall start shooting soon for the second season.
Finally then asked about his next directorial venture, he said, “Yes, I do have a script that my brother Faisal found for me. I have bought the rights and kept it aside and will make it at a future date. I am very clear that I would not want to direct right now, because I feel that as of now I am peaking as an actor, doing work that’s exciting me and I don’t want to stop that growth.”
His biggest insecurity is losing people he loves and also about losing his creativity.
All said and done, let us assure Aamir Khan, that both the people he loves and the creativity he has, will only grow cause leaving him is no option.[/tps_footer]
