Recently, Abhishek Bachchan came to his father Amitabh Bachchan’s rescue. Apparently, Big B was supposed to attend the opening ceremony at Mumbai’s Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2015 on Saturday evening. But due to back sprain, Big B had to cancel the plan at the last minute, but like a good son, Abhishk Bachchan turned up in his place at the event.
Reportedly, Big B had committed to be present at the opening ceremony of Kala Ghoda Arts festival 2015, with his Shamitabh co-star Akshara Haasan. However, the same morning, during his regular work out, Amitabh ended up hurting his back. He was then advised bed rest and could not attend the opening gala of the festival. So son Abhishek decided to fill in for his father and attended the evening on Big B’s behalf with Shamitabh actress Akshara.
After all, Bachchans are known for keeping their word and professionalism. “The Bachchans are known for their professionalism and punctuality. Mr Bachchan did not want to create problems for the organisers by pulling out of the event at the last minute. So, since Abhishek was present in town for one of his commitments in the afternoon, he headed off straight to the festival inauguration,” as reported by a source in a daily.
Amitabh Bachchan also took to Social Networking Site to inform everyone about the news. Big B posted, : “Pulled back muscle at gym .. arrgh … will not be going for opening of KalaGhoda fest .. in bed resting pain …”
