Taapsee Pannu: Acting was always on her mind, Delhi girl Taapsee worked as software professional and later pursued a career in modelling before becoming an actress. After a short stint with modelling, Taapsee made her acting debut with Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam. Since then, she has appeared in a number of critically acclaimed films and cemented herself in the South industry quite firmly. She made her Bollywood debut through Chashme Baddoor and then starred in the critically acclaimed film Baby. After Baby, she became very popular with Pink which made her star; the actress is looking forward to her six films coming up next year. Taapsee has surely come a long way from being a model to one of the most acclaimed actors in the Industry.
Ali Fazal: Fazal made his Bollywood debut with a special appearance in 3 Idiots and his first success came in Fukrey in 2013. He played the leading role in the horror Khamoshiyan followed by his first American film Furious 7. Recently he also played an important role in Happy Bhag Jayegi, opposite Diana Penty which was appreciated by all.
Radhika Apte: Radhika has proven her mettle as an actor over and over. She made her feature film debut with a brief role in the Hindi fantasy Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! Her Bollywood breakthrough came in 2015, following acclaimed performances in the thriller Badlapur and the comedy Hunterrr, Manjhi – The Mountain Man and received wide appreciation for the psychological thriller Phobia this year. She later went on to star in two of the blockbuster films, the Marathi thriller Lai Bhaari and the Tamil gangster drama Kabali.
Diljit Dosanjh: Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh is recognized as one of the leading artists in the Punjabi music industry. H has acted in Punjabi movies and recently he has made viewers crazy with his performance in the movie Udta Punjab which was appreciated by his co-actors and also people from the bollywood industry.
Jim Sarbh: Neerja has taken box-office by storm. The big revelation from the movie has been Jim Sarbh, the actor who plays the terrifying mad terrorist Khaleel has garnered rave reviews for his menacing performance. He is very popular in the theatre circle and the actor has now been signed for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor.
Nimrat Kaur: Nimrat began her career as a model and went on to act in theater. Later she was starred in Anurag Kashyap’s production Peddlers, which was screened at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. She followed it with her breakthrough role in The Lunchbox, a critically acclaimed drama co-starring Irrfan Khan and in 2016 she was seen in Airlift opposite Akshay Kumar which was appreciated by critics and fans alike and earned ton lots of accolades for the film.
