Dipna Patel is all set to kick-start 2019 with a bang with her famous play. The model turned actress has been on a roll with her varied plays and has been on the receiving end of compliments from all across.
Her famous play, ‘Raju Raja Ram Aur Main’ has been traveling around the world and will be clocking in 100 successful shows in January 2019 is the latest feather in her cap.
2nd Runner-Up at the I AM SHE – Miss Universe India 2012, Dipna has done a variety of plays in Hindi, Gujarati, and English and her accomplishments include : The Chitralekha Best Actress 2018 Award for her Gujarati play: ‘Santakukdi’ which is a remake of the acclaimed Marathi play White Lily Night Rider.
‘Mayday’ a one act musical is based on a real-life incident of a mysterious plane crash. “Exchange Student’ a children’s play has her playing a double role and has been quite popular amongst children in the holiday season.
She has also forayed into the digital medium with her candid talk show ‘The Theatre Rapids With Dipna’ which featured eminent personalities like Rakesh Bedi, Sharman Joshi & a few more who demystified the art and craft of stage acting in a very conversational way.
“I’ve had a beautiful journey so far. I started my career with modeling, then received the Miss Universe India 2012 crown and was also the winner of Femina Style Diva 2012.
Following my pageant wins I gravitated towards acting as performing arts has always been my passion . The love I received from my fans and audience has made me what I am today.”
