The controversial episodes of AIB Knockout are creating trouble between lots of Bollywood stars. Recently, PK actor Aamir Khan expressed his views about the show calling it ‘violent and not at all funny’.To which, director Anurag Kashyap swiftly responded by pointing out the much violent movie Delhi Belly.
According to Aamir Khan, even though he did not watch the entire video, the content of the AIB Roast did not appeal to him as he thinks hurling abuses is funny only if you are 14 years old. Also, the actor repeatedly called the entire show very violent and expressed that he was disappointed with Karan Johar for participating in such a show. Bombay Velvet director Anurag Kashyap, who was present in the audience during the AIB Knockout, was quick to respond to Aamir’s statement. Without saying anything directly, Mr Kashyap posted a link on his Facebook page where Aamir had spoken in defense of the song DK Bose from his produced film Delhi Belly.
Produced by none other than Aamir Khan himself, Delhi Belly, the film released in 2011 had caught a lot of criticism due to its abusive language and violent nature of humour. To which Aamir had posted, “I have already informed my audiences that it is an adult film. Please do not go with your kids and those who have a problem with this kind of language shouldn’t come either. I try my best to inform the audiences before-hand. Then they can decide themselves. If the audience is adult, they can decide themselves. So from my end I do all these things for my fans.”
Anurag Kashyap swiftly pointed out this hypocrisy of Aamir Khan. We wonder what Aamir has to say about this!
