MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar and the mightiest tiger in tinseltown, Salman Khan was spotted returning to Mumbai, after which he was seen immediately rushing to his friend Sanjay Dutt’s side.
Salman was reportedly abroad, undergoing treatment in L.A. for his chronic illnesses, including the nerve disorder which has been a source of pain and trouble to the superstar for years now. Post his treatment, Salman was spotted arriving at Mumbai’s International airport.
Salman landed in Mumbai late on Saturday night, clad in a faded grey ‘Being Human’ sweatshirt, track pants and a grey cap. He looked tired and disgruntled as he had to navigate through the hordes of fans outside the airport, who were waiting to catch a glimpse of their favourite superstar.
Salman then reportedly headed home, changed into a light green tee-shirt, and rushed to the residence of his good friend Sanjay Dutt.
Salman and Sanjay’s friendship dates back to the time when they starred together in 1990’s superhits like ‘Chal Mere Bhai’, and the duo have been firm friends since then. Last year, they even co-hosted a reality TV show together, and brought the house down with their effortless camaraderie and irreverent banter.
Salman’s open show of support for Sanjay Dutt, who has been convicted for a term of 5 years for illegal possession of arms during the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, comes close on the heels of the entire film fraternity rallying around the star.
Spotted in the last few days at the Dutt residence, among film producers whose films depend on Sanjay’s dates, were Bollywood celebrities like Suniel Shetty, Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, Ranbir Kapoor, Raju Hirani and many others.
