MUMBAI: To celebrate the success of his film ‘Delhi Safari’ bagging the national award for the Best Animation Film last week, filmmaker Nikhil Advani hosted a big bash for all his Bollywood friends.
Spotted at the big blowout bash were the who’s-who of tinseltown, celebrating Karan Johar’s protege’s big win.
Nikhil was ecstatic as he welcomed guests like Karan Johar (in trademark black), Ritesh Deshmukh with his pretty wife Genelia, Arjun Rampal (casually clad in navy blue) and Mehr, Tabu, Konkana Sen Sharma (radiant in black) and many others to his party.
Also present were ‘Kai Po Che’ sensation Sushant Singh Rajput with his girlfriend, Kabir Khan, Amrita Puri, Amit Sadh, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Ritesh Sidhwani, Saurabh Shukla, Farhan Akhtar and Irrfan Khan.
Said the elated director, post his big win: “The feeling of winning such an illustrious award for a film I so deeply believed in is unexplainable! I’m glad the people involved with this film are finally getting their due credit through this award and hopefully this will be a take off point for the extremely talented animation industry that our country has.”
Sadly, missing from his big party were his ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ stars Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Saif Ali Khan.
