MUMBAI: Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan has long been an Indian ambassador for the world-famous cosmetic brand with Sonam Kapoor joining in recently. Freida Pinto, a more well-known face internationally, thanks to ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, completes the Indian trio.
Recently, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan went to Cannes for the Cannes Film Festival and at the same time shot for an ad featuring all the ambassadors. Sonam Kapoor shot for the ad as well. And now the print ad is out, but without Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor in it.
Freida Pinto, though, features prominently in this print ad along with other Hollywood stars like Jane Fonda, Julianne Moore and Eva Longoria.
Interestingly, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor do feature in the video ad featuring the ambassadors. So what’s going on here?
A spokesperson for the cosmetic brand has said, “The campaign for this very exclusive collection has different versions featuring different groups of ambassadors including Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor.”
Hopefully, Indian audiences and fans will be able to see these different versions soon.
