Actress Akshara Haasan who is set to make her Bollywood debut with director R Balki’s film ‘Shamitabh’, is on a roll. Going by the reports, Amitabh’s upcoming film ‘Shamitabh’s actress Akshara Haasan will soon share screen space with Sridevi.
Reportedly, producer Boney Kapoor, who produced his son, actor Arjun Kapoor’s film ‘Tevar’, is onto his next project. His wife Sridevi is part of the project and will play one of the main characters in the film. Apparently, the film will take us on a journey of a step mother and her step daughter, a tale of emotionally dramatic relationship between the two. Sridevi is to play the role of step-mother. In the whole quest of finding the perfect suitor for the role of step daughter, producer Boney Kapoor stumbled upon Kaman Haasan’s daughter, Akshara Haasan.

Apparently, the director of Akshara’s upcoming Bollywood film ‘Shamitabh’, R Balki recommended the actress’ name to the producer. After that, Boney saw few shots of the film and came to the conclusion that the young actress will be perfect for the role of step-daughter and would be able to share the big screen with his wife, as well.
The actress Akshara Haasan’s Bollywood debut film ‘Shamitabh’ is set to release on February 6, 2015. Directed by R Balki, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Danush.
