Akshay Kumar Gave A Golden Reply When Asked About The Clash With John Abraham!


Excel Entertainment’s highly awaited film Gold is all set for its perfect release on Independence Day.

Gold will be facing a clash with John Abraham starrer  Satyamev Jayate which also arrives on the same date.

John Abraham was recently quoted saying on the clash,”Akshay is my good friend. We get along really well and we wish best for each other… to avoid a clash between the two films is the production house’s responsibility.”

During the special event of Gold, Akshay Kumar was informed about John Abrahams comment on the clash.

Akshay Kumar was asked to comment on the clash and the actor gave a witty reply by saying,”John is my friend. In the industry, we all are friends. I have learnt that we can come together on any date. We all are friends (laughs).”

The actor was pushed again to comment on the clash by the journalist, to which Akshay said trolling the journalist,”It is true that he is my friend and I have learned that anyone can release their film with other actor’s film,Next time, I will also do the same”

Akshay’s comment left the media in splits also the actor showed his witty side with the comment.

The trailer of Gold has been received well by the audience and now everyone is waiting for its release with bated breath.

Gold’ marks to be the first association between Akshay Kumar and Excel Entertainment led by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.

Gold’ marks the Bollywood debut of actress Mouni Roy opposite Akshay Kumar.

Apart from Akshay and Mouni, ‘Gold’ has an ensemble cast of Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Vineet Singh, Sunny Kaushal & Nikita Dutta.

‘Gold’ is about India’s first Olympic medal win as a free nation in the year 1946 at Games of the XIV Olympiad, London. The period film helmed by Reema Kagti has been shot across the UK and India.

Staying true to the genre of the film, the film is to release on Independence Day this year.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner name Excel Entertainment, the film is written and directed by Reema Kagti and will hit the theatres on 15th August 2018.
