[tps_footer]The Shaukeens Press Meet held on November 6^th, 2014 saw the entire star cast along with Akshay Kumar present at the event, which was held in PVR Cinemas,Mumbai.  It was a star-studded affair as many celebrities had come to grace the screening of the movie. Shaukeen is the remake of the 1982 classic movie and it revolves around three old men played by Anupam Kher, Piyush Mishra and Annu Kapoor, who turn each other’s rival to impress a young beautiful woman, played by Lisa Haydon.  The movie also has Akshay Kumar in a special appearance; he is portraying himself in the movie.

Lisa Haydon, earlier seen in a cameo role in the movie ‘Queen’ is playing the lead in the movie ‘Shaukeens’. She was looking stunning in beige off shoulder top paired up with knee torn slim black pants.

Akshay Kumar was sporting a very casual look along with a funky cap. He had an unshaven look at the screening. He plays a cameo in the movie and his character is of Akshay Kumar the star.

Annu Kapoor was present at the screening along with his wife. They both looked good together. The most attractive part was Annu Kapoor’s funky polka dotted pants.

Akshay Kumar tickles the funny bone and Lisa Haydon just cant stop laughing. The entire team of the movie poses for the photo op.

Manish Paul, last seen in Mickey Virus and as host in ‘Jhalak Dikh Laaja’ was also present at the screening. He looked quite dashing in his denim shirt teamed up with black vest and pants. His look was stylishly elegant.

Piyush Mishra, who was also seen in Gangs of Wasseypur in a very serious role, is essaying the character of a young at heart old man in the movie ‘Shaukeens’.

Lisa Haydon poses along with the Shaukeens. All seemed to be a very light mood at screening. They were seen enjoying together.

Goldie Behl was also seen attending the screening of the movie. He was in his casual wear with the classic combo of black and blue denims.

With his release lined up for release Ali Zafar reached the screening of the movie with a quite relaxed mood. He seen in a formal attire and as usual he looked quite eye attracting. The monochrome polka dotted shirt was the highlight in his whole look.

Sajid Khan was like a surprise guest at the screening. As there were rumors about his fall out with Akshay Kumar recently, but his presence put rest to such rumors. He looked quite happy and excited and was enjoying coffee at the screening.

Lisa Haydon enjoys bucket popcorn at the screening. According to her role is very innocent and naïve in the movie. She says, “ I look up to these three elder men as fatherly figure and she doesn’t realize that their concern and attention is flirty or leachy.”
