Akshay Kumar To Star In Hindi Remake Of Kaththi?

The Khiladi of the industry Akshay Kumar is known for his enigmatic super hit films. The action star whose sole motto is to entertain the audience, is now venturing into South film industry too. Taking a new route and not following other celebs, Akshay as we all know will soon be seen in ‘Robot 2′.

Seems like, the South film industry is already smitten by our Khiladi Akshay. Airlift actor Akshay is obviously too excited for the film ‘Robot 2′ alongside Rajinikanth. The Tamil film ‘Robot 2′ will see Akshay in the shoes of a bad guy.

Drifting away from the genre of comedy movies, Akshay Kumar has lately turned towards meaningful concepts and plots. With films like ‘Special 26′, ‘Airlift’ and ‘Baby’, Akshay has already created news for his next project too. Reports making rounds suggest that, Akshay is being considered for the Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster ‘Kaththi’.

‘Kaththi’ is a Tamil film helmed by AR Murugadoss. The film features actors Vijay, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and others. The Hindi remake of the film ‘Kaththi’ will soon commence and it is being said that Akshay Kumar will be playing the main lead.

Recently when Akshay was asked whether he is a part of ‘Kaththi’ remake, he said, “I think so.” Further when the action star was asked about when the shooting for the same will begin Akshay said, “We are still deciding.”

Commenting on the sequel of the film ‘Namastey London’, Akshay commented, “That was always going to happen mid of this year. I have no idea (about the release), It all depends on my speed.”

Akshay Kumar is currently busy with the release of his upcoming film ‘Airlift’. The film features actress Nimrat Kaur opposite Akshay. ‘Airlift’ has already impressed the audience with its mind blowing trailer. The film based on the gulf war is slated to hit the screens on January 22nd, 2016.
