If reports are to be believed then Karan Johar is all set to cast Sridevi‘s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor in his next film. A source close to Karan Johar stated that he has apparently met Jhanvi a couple of times already and is now considering launching her in his film.
Karan has known Jhanvi for quiet some time. However, it is only recently that he has thought of launching her under his own banner. Jhanvi too is busy grooming herself for Bollywood and is is taking dance classes and working on her diction.
What comes to us as a shock is the fact that her mother Sridevi is apparently not too happy about her daughter joining the film industry and has told Karan that she wants Jhanvi to finish her education before she starts her film career.
Jhanvi is also getting offers from the South. There is apparently an offer for Jhanvi to star opposite Chiranjeevi‘s son, Ram Charan Teja, and also a film opposite Nagarjuna‘s son, Naga Chaitanya.
Star kids get an easy entry in Bollywood, but they have their own share of struggles before they achieve the desired success. Apparently Jhanvi is one of the most photographed star kids. She also became the talk of the town when she made her appearance during her mummy’s comeback film English Vinglish.
Star kids like Shraddha Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Sonam Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor are few examples of star kids, who strived hard to make their presence in the industry.
