Christina Aguilera, aged thirty three, publicly confirmed her pregnancy for the first time and announced the baby’s sex on stage, in her live performance in Malaysia, to which she posted on twitter a picture of herself onstage and wrote “Thank You Malaysia for all the love and support.”
The newly engaged couple will welcome their daughter later this year and are reportedly very excited.
A source close to Christina stated that she is over the moon to be expecting a girl. Though the pregnancy wasn’t planned or expected, it is also wasn’t unwelcome.
Both Matthew Rutler and Christina Aguilera are very excited about the new addition into their family, as Christina loves being a mother. The pop star and her beau had announced their engagement in February 2014.
Matthew and Christina have been dating each other from the past three years and had met on the set of Burlesque in the year 2010 while Christina was going through her divorce.
Matthew was planning to propose to Christina long before the singer got pregnant and was designing her engagement ring more than a year ago.
Two days after Matthew popped the question in the backyard of their new home in Los Angeles, the couple announced their engagement on twitter on Valentine’s Day. Christina wrote on twitter “He asked and I said,”
According to a close friend, Christina was stunned by Matthews’s romantic sunset proposal for which he wore a suit and filled a gazebo with candles and red roses. They later went to celebrate with friend and family.
