Amitabh Bachchan Is Akshay Kumar’s ‘BOSS’!

Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan have bonded well together ever since their ‘Khakee’ days. And now the two come together, not as actors though in the former’s ‘Boss’. Amitabh Bachchan is set to lend his voice for introducing Akshay Kumar’s character in the film.

MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan’s personal friendship and professional bonding has always been appreciated in tinsel town. From acting as cops in ‘Khakee’ to father-son in ‘Waqt’ Amitabh-Akshay have always tasted some sweet success at the movies. 

And seven years later the deadly duo will be back in ‘Boss’. But while Amitabh Bachchan will not be present physically, the actor will be lending his powerful baritone to introduce Akshay Kumar’s character in ‘Boss’.

Amitabh Bachchan has already recorded the voiceover to introduce Akshay Kumar’s character.

Says Ashwin Varde joint producer of ‘Boss’ with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, “It’s a dream come true to have a legend like him giving an introduction to the film.”

Akshay Kumar too is elated and says, “It’s always an honour and a privilege to have a legend like Amitabh Bachchan introduce my character. I have been his biggest fan and I have even had the pleasure of working with him. He is an institution in himself.”

‘Boss’ directed by ‘Blue’ director Anthony D’Souza also stars Shiv Pandit, Aditi Rao Hydari, Danny Denzongpa, Ronit Roy and is releasing on 16 October.

For now Amitabh Bachchan looks like is the real ‘Boss’ for Akshay Kumar!
