Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan married to each other on this day in 1973. Their wedding was a hush-hush affair with only close friends and family members in attendance. In fact, Big B’s marriage will always stay memorable for another reason as his angry young man character from Zanjeer had taken the nation by storm. The two have starred together in few films including ‘Chupke Chupke‘, ‘Abhimaan‘ and ‘Silsila‘ among others.

They have been the most admired couple in reel as well as real life and they continue to do so. Even their son Abhishek Bachchan has followed the same path of his parents since he married to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan has geared up for the release of his upcoming film Te3n, which also stars Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the film is all set to release on June 10.
